Zapp Electric was founded in 1978 by Dan Hunt Sr.  Dan started Zapp Electric as a way to support his growing family in a time when jobs where hard to find.  Dan believed that if he could make his customer happy they might tell a friend, but if he upset a customer they would tell everyone they knew.  We believe this is why so much of our business is repeat customers and referrals.  Dan would from time to time take his children to work with him starting at an early age.  His children would grow up to become the  second generation of quality orientated electricians. 

 

While Dan Sr. is still actively involved with Zapp Electric.  In 2007 Zapp Electric Incorporated and two of  Dan's son's took over the daily operations giving Dan Sr. a long deserved break. 

 

Dan Sr.'s sons Dan Jr. and Aaron now run the daily operations of  Zapp Electric Inc.   Each having decades of  experience in the industry, they as well as every staff member of  Zapp Electric continues to work hard to ensure every customer is a satisfied customer.  As over 30 years ago, occasionally you might find a third generation of possible future electricians on a job. 

 

We consider many of our customers to be much more then that.  Many of our customers are hard to call customers.  Through the years many of our customers we refer to as our "Friends"
